The Finance Office, staffed with 9 employees, bills and collects water bills, tax bills, and privilege licenses.

New residential and commercial customers may open water accounts, pay for water and sewer tap fees, purchase privilege licenses and much more.

The office also answers planning and zoning questions as well as, takes and processes work orders for other town services.  Brush/junk to be picked up may be called in to the main office at 828-648-2363 (no construction debris allowed). The Town of Canton currently contracts with Waste Pro 828-684-7790 for its household trash collection.
