RE: SSO – Sanitary Sewer Overflow
The Town of Canton had a discharge of untreated wastewater on February 1, 2024 of an estimated volume of 1,400 gallons at a manhole adjacent to the Pigeon River. This manhole is located at the softball field near the Canton Recreation Park. The Division of Water Resources was notified, and the matter is currently under review.
