Picnic Shelters
Picnic shelters are located in Rec Park at 77 Penland Street and are open to the public during park hours unless a reservation has been made.
There are 3 picnic shelters available for use:
- Rotary Shelter
- Kiwanis Shelter
- Lions Shelter
Picnic Shelter Rentals
The rental fee is $50/time slot (8:00am-2:00pm) or $50/time slot (2:30pm-8:30pm)
Picnic shelter rentals must be done on RecDesk, where you will see calendars for availability. NO rentals will be made over the phone; however, feel free to call 828-648-2363 for additional information regarding the shelters.
