Fire

The Canton Fire Department responds to emergency calls including residential, commercial, vehicle, brush/grass fires, and other emergency situations where life and property are in jeopardy. 

The Town has a 4 insurance rating from the ISO. The Fire Department provides first responder emergency medical assistance. The fire department holds annual training programs and each employee completes Emergency Medical Care Training as required under the State Firefighter Certification Program as well as, maintaining their CPR and First Aid certification.
