The Town of Canton operates under the Council-Manager form of government.
The Town Board consists of a Mayor & a four-member Board of Aldermen (all five of which are elected). The Mayor & Board of Aldermen are elected on 4-year staggered terms.
Meetings
Mayor & Board meetings are regularly scheduled for the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at the Town Hall located at 85 Summer Street, Canton, beginning at 6:00 pm.
